Self-Perception
Posted by By: Dr. Laura Berman on March 13 2018
Dr Berman- I am 27 years old and for the most part I am healthy and active. My issue is that I sometimes see my body as it isn’t. My brain actually sees a fat person. My height for my weight is normal and I work out like a crazy person. It happens mostly around my time of the month. My question is, is this normal? I have had to take a picture of myself at times to show that what I see in the mirror isn’t real. What do you think? Is this a hormonal thing? What causes it? Kendall
