Living Like Roommates
Posted by By: Dr. Laura Berman on October 18 2018
Dr. Berman, My wife and I are living like room mates. I get that we have 3 kids, but we have a nanny and a housekeeper to relieve a lot of the stress that goes along with having children. They are also school aged and she doesn’t work. I am trying not to be resentful, but when I come home, I need and want affection. Her response is always that she is just too wiped out. She feeds them breakfast, then goes to the gym or yoga... Then whatever else she does all day… the housekeeper does the laundry and she might have to make dinner.. I feel taken advantage of and I’m looking at her less and less as a wife and more as a mother and that makes me sad. What can I do to get her to be more interested in me? Kenneth
